| Ingredients: |
| 4 - 6 | Medium sized tart apples |
| 1 Tbsp | Sugar |
| 1 Tbsp | Cinnamon |
| 3/4 cup | Melted butter |
| 1 cup | Sugar |
| 1 cup | Flour |
| 1 | Egg |
| 1/2 cup | Chopped walnuts (optional) |
| Pinch | Salt |
| Sprinkle | Vanilla |
| Directions: |

| Core and slice apples (peeling is optional). Fill 9" or 10" pie plate 2/3 full of apples. Sprinkle with tablespoon each of sugar and cinnamon. Combine remaining ingredients. Spoon over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve hot or cold. |
