Pork Chops with Apple Chutney 
Recommended varieties: SweeTango, E2, Honeycrisp, Haralson, Ace  
 4-6  Pork chops, approx. 2 lbs
 1/4 tsp  Salt
 1/4 tsp  Pepper
 1/3 cup  Packed brown sugar
 2 Tbsps  Cider vinegar
 1 tsp  Cinnamon
 1 tsp  Ground ginger
 Pinch - 1/4 tsp  Cayenne pepper, adjust to taste
 1/4 cup  Dried cranberries or golden raisins
 2 cups  Peeled and chopped apples

1. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper and place in the bottom of a greased slow cooker. 
2. Combine brown sugar through cranberries in a bowl and pour over pork. Put apples on top.
3. Cover and cook on low for about 4 hours.
