Apple Crisp 
Recommended varieties: Oriole, Zestar, E2, Haralson, Cortland, Ace 
 
Ingredients:
 8 cups  Apples, peeled and chopped
 2 cups  Sugar, divided
 3/4 tsp  Cinnamon
 1 3/4 cup  Flour
 1 tsp  Salt
 1 cup  Butter, cubed

Directions: 
Place chopped apples in a 9 x 13 pan. Combine 1 cup sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on top of apples in pan. Combine remaining cup of sugar, flour, and salt in a bowl and cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of ingredients in the pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until apples are done.
